Who we are

Phrazl is run by Kaleido Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17516332, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us at support@phrazl.com.

The service

Phrazl builds a destination-specific phrase curriculum around a trip you describe: a destination, a departure date and up to three scenarios. It schedules reviews of those phrases against your departure date. It is a practice tool for spoken phrases; how far you get depends on the reviews you actually do.

Emergency phrases

Emergency phrases are for general communication practice only and are not a substitute for emergency services or a qualified interpreter.

In a real emergency, contact the local emergency services directly. Do not rely on a practised phrase, this app, or any phrasebook in place of professional help.

Purchases and refunds

Trip packs and the full bundle are one-time purchases handled by Stripe. The free preview shows the first 20 phrases of any trip before you pay, so you can judge the product on the product. If a purchase did not unlock what it named, email support@phrazl.com and we will fix it or refund it to your original payment method.

Progress figures

The trip readiness figure is curriculum coverage completed: the share of your trip's phrase set you have reviewed at least once. It measures what you have covered, not how any conversation will go, and we promise no particular speaking outcome.

Your account and data

Delete a single trip and its review history from that trip's edit screen. Delete the whole account from your account screen: type your email to confirm, and the account, trips, review history, purchase records and support requests go in one transaction. The same screen downloads a JSON file of everything held about you. Stripe retains its own payment records as required by law.
